2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Driver Side Auto Door Locks

On my driver side automatic door lock, when I use the wireless remote to unlock it, there is the sound of an electric motor running in the door and it has got to where sometimes it makes the sound but doesn't unlock the door. The motor sound just started here recently when it wouldn't unlock. So sometimes it unlocks and sometimes it doesn't. Anybody else have this problem or a fix?

it is a door lock solenoid. Try smacking it lightly and see if it helps. If not, you need to pull the door panel, buy a new on from dodge. They run about 110 bucks i believe. .
