Well as alot of us have experienced the dreaded lamp out indicator I have a situation that is puzzling me on my `05. The brake light on the driver side is not coming on when the brake pedal is pushed. The parking lights worked as well as the turn signal and the reverse lamp. So I did the replace the bulb from the turn signal to the brake light socket and the brake light did not come on then I put the original brake light in the turn signal socket and the light would work. The next thing I did was remove the passenger tail light assembly and connect it to the driver side socket and the same thing everything worked except the brake light. I then installed the driver side tailight assembly to the passenger side socket and everything worked. I started doing some voltage checks but apparantly there is a constant 9VDC to the lights. I would like to know if some one could tell me wich wire on the driver side tail light connector goes to the brake light socket. On the 5 pin connector there is a black wire, white wire with green chaser, white wire with yellow chaser, white wire with slate chaser and a green wire with a white chaser. I am trying to narrow the problem a wire that may be open or if the socket is messed up or if something else controls the brake lights. By the way I ohmed the bulb to make sure the bulb was good the . 66 ohms on the outside wires on the buls 2. 7 ohms for the inside wires on the bulb. I know I should have a manual but I don't. If some one has some info I sure would appreciate the help.
