My dad's 03 driver side sunvisor decided that it won't stay up over the weekend. It's like it lost all "spring" and it won't stay up in any position. I was wondering if any of you have had this problem before and know how to fix it. Suggestions would be appreciated...

Thanks,

Joe

I also have an '03. My visor seems to have lost the "spring" to keep it up against the headliner. It seemed to happen all at once. Until it falls down further I will not fix it.

I have an 03 and my visor broke at about 39000 miles the tech at the local dodge service dept fibbed about the mileage and I got a new one for free. Now the thing seems to have lost its spring but still stays in place. If it gets worse I'll put a bolt through it and tighten it on the shaft like thy did in the 50's

Visor won't stay up

My '03 2500, SLT, the visor on the passenger side started falling

out of position when the truck had about 27,000 miles on it, the

dealer replaced it under warranty. He had one in stock, that's

a clue that it happens fairly often. They later replaced the steering

wheel which had begun to appear that it had some kind of

pox.

I'd replace it, mabe the supplier has improved the visor.

Did anybody ever figure out a fix for this? Mine made a little snap and then a pop two days ago and now I have the same problem. It just falls down vertical. Piece of junk.

$15? That isn't too bad. I just made the assumption it would be five or six hundred dollars like most other parts. :)

Thanks!
