I found the drivers seat all the way fwd & twisted slightly toward the door. I haven't removed the seat yet to see exactly is wrong. I did check with the local Dodge dealer & was told "You have to buy the seat bottom and all motors etc comes with that. " The seat fwd & rev motor is working but only the left side is driving. The right side seems to have a cog jammed because only the left side moves. Does anyone know of anyone that sells parts for the seats? I am 6'6" tall and with the seat all the way fwd, my knees are like blinders.

thank you for your help,

I have the same problem with a six way electric in my wifes Grand Cherokee. Dodge says 700. 00 for the seat bottom. I have looked for just parts to fix it and have come up empty handed. Hope you have better luck than me.

Drivers Seat

When I found the problem, my wife had just brought it back from the car wash. I belive that while the persons inside the cab were using the vacuum and cleaning the inside, they must have moved things around in the back of the club cab. Then when the seat started, it ran over the small tool kit, or the jumper cable box, or some other thing.

I took the seat out Sat morning and discovered the sheet metal bracket which holds the motor was bent which let the drive cable (speedometer cable) slip out of the left side. Turned by hand to align then inserted the cable. Checked out ok on bench. Put back in the truck, Works fin now.
