Well I did the seat repair as discussed in Issue 35 Feb/Mar/Apr of 2002 TDR Magazine. My seat was a little different than the one shown in the article but it was real easy. Took the rig for a short drive and the repair job sure made the seat like new.
I had to do a repair job on the material that was worn out from sliding out of the truck rather than using the running board. Cut a nice piece of denim, used the spray type glue and it does stick so one wants to make sure the material is where you want it. cause it is not moving once its down.
My new seat covers from Genos will be here Tuesday to cover up my fancy patch job. I thought it looked good but the wife said YOU DO HAVE NEW SEAT COVERS TO COVER THAT MESS !!!!!!
