I am trying to get some front(4x4)driveshaft bolts that connect the driveshaft to the T-Case. The 4 bolts that I need I was wondering if you could get them at a Napa or do I have to get these from the factory, I was also trying to find out the grade if I could get them from somewere other then the dealer.

Yes, you can get strap kits for most vehicles at NAPA, for the low price, I suggest doing them whenever you do U-joints.

Shouldn't have straps on that end. Should be a flange w/ 4 bolts.

IIRC, I got one from the dealer. My shaft came loose once, and I lost one of them. It is metric, but don't remember the size. Think it is close to 3/8 or 7/16", not sure.

From the model year 2000 Parts Catalog: P/N 6033358 SCREW AND WASHER, Hex Head Locking, . 437-14x1. 25, Propeller Shaft to Transfer Case Flange.

I have no idea if they are different on your model year 1994 Ram. List is about $4. 75 each at the Mopar parts counter.

As previously posted, I have no idea. It shouldn't be too difficult to see if the 7/16-14 x 1¼ bolts, also mentioned in the post, will fit. If the length and thread sizes work, I'd guess that they are the same.

Flange bolts haven't changed over the years. Try any good hardware store for metric 14x1. 25 bolts. I found mine in grade 8 or 9 for about a buck apiece.

I had lost two bolts from flange aand the others had loosened up. New bolts torqued up a bit and no problem since.

91w250 lots of 4x4 miles on it.

OK, then i have another question, are the front driveshaft and rear driveshaft flange bolts the same, then i can just match the rear ones up to bolts in the hardware store.

Metric 14 mm? On your driveshaft? Grade 8 or 9?

The 14 is threads per inch on the 7/16 diameter bolt.

Metrics don't come in grade 8 or 9. Maybe 8. 9? The 7/16 bolt at the hardware will be grade 5 or 8 and I have bought them there too as I lost my front driveshaft parts after dooing the clutch. I twisted off one of the yoke bolts and put that repair off for a while and put the bolts and yoke straps somewhere that I would never lose them. I found them a yr later. Yep - their still safe. ;)

The stockers on my '99 were not actually flanged bolt heads - but have a washer that was slipped on before the threads were rolled aparently. (won't come off - but it is loose) A lock washer should be just the ticket. (Never sieze too eh?)

Flange bolts on the rear?

Ox, Thanks for the info, I got the right size bolts Grade 8 with the correct thread (I tried them and they went in). Ill use some lock washers and Never-sieze.
