Drivetrain Fluid Change

Ok, time to change all the fluids front to rear. How much fluid does the front and rear diff, 6 speed trans and the transfer case hold. Also what type of fluid goes in these units. Lastly, where is a good source to obtain these fluids, I can't imagine the dealer would possibly charge a fair price.

The owners manual should list all fluid capacities. I too have a 6 speed and read in my manual where they are completely self contained and never need changing unless damaged or leaking. I am going to wait until the end of my warranty and then switch to Amsoil.

Front and rear diff is GL-5 SAE 75W90 full synthetic.

These are shown on Page 380 of my 04 owner's manual. Capacities are not listed.



Transfer case is ATF+4 (same as the auto transmission)

Do a search for these capacities. I know I've personally posted them at least 3 times on various threads... should be all over the palce.
