Driving from Orlando Fl to Phoenix AZ...Anyone need anything hauled???

I'm going to be driving from roughly Orlando FL to Phoenix AZ, for an conference and would like to make a few bucks, or at least enough to cover fuel. I can haul any type of trailer at darn near any weight. I've got a perfect driving record and I have good insurance. I'm not a commercial operator just own my truck to haul my race car trailer. I will go out of my way if it is worth it$$$$$

Thanks for the quick response. It would be nice to plan this early. Lakeland is only about 60 miles from me and that would be great. As for the car, I would need to get a u-haul trailer rented because it wouldn't be worth dragging my car trailer 5000miles to tow something 1000miles. If that would be o. k. with you it would be o. k. with me.

Brian - I will know this weekend if the buyer wants to put his money where his desires are. I agree and would have the car hooked up and ready on a rented car dolly/trailer for dropoff in Phoenix and would be willing to have it waiting for you where you may drop the trailer just outside of Ft. Worth. In consideration of this please think about how much money (little) you would want to have a Merkur (2900lbs dry) follow you to Phoenix... obviously the shipping is what is concerning the buyer... please email me with a phone number and maybe we'll talk this weekend. Timing should be no problemo.

Got an email today from prospective buyer of Merkur... seems he wants to work on "other projects" for now and is not willing to commit despite his desires, and the opportunity to have your VERY reasonable delivery. I have one other fish nibbling at the hook... cross your fingers, and I'll keep you posted.



HEY ALL YOU OTHER TDR FOLKS --- LETS HELP THIS GUY FIND SOME FREIGHT... you must know somebody looking to ship something. Brian asked for a VERY reasonable rate to tow... c'mon, he's just looking to cover the price of diesel!!

Are you towing that travel trailer to TX? If so, does it have a hitch on the back? I'm looking to have you tow a single axle EMPTY boat trailer (~500#) all the way to Phoenix, then all the way back to FL with a boat loaded. Also, since you might be able to go out of your way, what about coming to Vegas to pick up the boat... would save me the trip to Phoenix.
