Anybody's Wife Into Machine Embroidery?

Can someone with driving experience tell me the better route?

Starting out on I80 heading west... ... going to Las Vegas.

Should we go via I70 and chance the mountain traffic, or continue on I80 through Wyoming and then drop down?

We'll be in Floor It's truck, my truck on a trailer behind it.

Any tips or hints on the route out there?

Now that the interstate is fixed though SLC I'd go 80 to 15. Plus you avoid Denver. I-70 is prettier but more traffic and hills.

I'll second what Illflem posted. Denver is murder around rush hour and it doesn't end there. Traffic on I-70 over the rockies can be bumper-to-bumper and quite slow. Go I-80 to Salt Lake, I-15 to Vegas. Oo. Oo. Oo.

I would definetely go 80 and 15. I70 is more scenic through Colorado and Utah but in your case, towing your truck,I'd forget the scenics. FYI the cheapest diesel in Sin City is $1. 38 at Craig and Lamb. It is $1. 51 in Pahrump. Utah can be a little less because of their taxes. I usually fill up in St. George if the price is close to the Vegas price. What day is the cam going in? I hope you can give us your results during MM. Bob

I would fill up at the truck stop in Evanston WY and again in St George UT. I have always found the Nevada fuel prices to be ridiculous!!
