Anyone had any sucess in connecting the Canadian DRL module up to a US truck?

We've already tried it, no dice. I ordered a DRL module once, but the harness in the engine compartment where it would go on a CAN truck is not there on the US trucks. It's all tied into the big main harness so it's not as simple as adding the DRL harness.

i added DRL to my 01. 5. some insurance carriers offer a discount for DRL equipped vehicles (mine does). i accomplished the task by rewiring the lighting system, and addition of an aftermarket module. anybody intersted--PM me.

I also did it with a 300a diode in the alternator line. Use it for the fogs as DRL's and other equipment to run only when the eng is running. Others have used an oil pressure sw or ???. Mine has an hour meter that when I gots the Cummins kit (attaches to a Palm) found out the eng has almost 900 more hrs than I estimated when I picked the truck up. Must have been a "test" eng???
