relay question

OK, what is a 3500 with rear wheel drive?

I'm new to the TDR website and lingo. Please help out by explaining what the word drone is. I've saw this word used in exhaust type disscissions. Thanks Kyle

It's a resonance that occurs in all exhaust systems to a greater or lesser degree. There is a naturally occurring harmonic due to the mass (and other variables) that sets of an oscillation that can be heard as a noticeably louder exhaust tone. On my exhaust, it’s around 2600 rpm if I remember correctly. I only hear it occasionally when going from OD to 3rd around 60mph. For many, it’s unnoticeable. For a few, it’s unbearable and has to be changed out or fixed.

uhhh... ... . it's just an annoying sound:D it seems that a lot of 4" systems or others being straightpipe will make the drone occur.
