well its back together and seems to be running pretty good well i don't wanna go through this agin 1 piston, 4 valves, & 4 seats and assorted gaskets $400, $100 machine shop, and a lotta my labor, the thing that bothers me is that the machine shop said that the valve guides were worn 115000 miles i only the best synthec oil also you can get the pan off without removing the transmission thanks for everyones replies

I think to remove the oil pan engine has to be hosted up a decent amount or remove trans.

He was just saying that you could get the pan off, not asking IF you can. The work is already done i believe.

Did you just clean up the affected cylinder, hone it and install new guts in frame? How much fuel were you throwing at it when she dropped?
