I am with the above poster on enjoying the car buying experience. My wife too thinks I am nuts. :)

If you have the time and energy, sell it yourself. The only thing I can think that may cause an issue is the miles? A bank, (if used) may not be willing to write those kind of miles.

But if you sell it yourself, make sure you don't have a lot of storage space like myself. It then becomes to easy to justify keeping it. :-laf I currently have 10 vehicles shoved away in our buildings. Last one was our '99 Suburban with 230k on it. Looks and drives like 60k. Dealer only would give us $1200 for it. Now one of my back up cars.

I love my 2010. Only thing I'd add is to eliminate idling as much as possible. I think that's one of the major problems with these trucks getting so much carbon build-up in the intake. As a commute vehicle while I was without a small econocar I got 17mpg @ 65 miles roundtrip, and oil change messages between 4300-4700 miles.

I've heard just about everything, but... . What is a chicken slide????

Would that be the chicken bone option??? Sun roof. [/QUOT!E]

A chicken slide is an air dam that sits on a rack behind and above the cab to direct the air up and over the top of a trailer. I think I have my truck sold!

I showed it to him at 241k and some change. Less than two weeks later I am at 244k. Maybe I should get a deposit. :-laf
