Got a question for you folks,
Last night while rotating the tires on my truck I adjusted the rear drums. This is the second time I have done so. I did it with the wheels off so I could inspect the shoes and such. Well when I got home from my 12 mile commute from work out of curiosity I just felt both drums through the wheel opening and the right side was extremely hot. The left was cool to normal. Do I need to back off the adjuster a tad on the right side or should I tighten up more on the left?I had no problems putting the drums back on after the adjustment so it can't be too tight and I could still turn the drums by hand with some drag felt. Seem to me that the right side is doing most of the braking and not the left? Also do I need to slacken/adjust the parking brake cable every time I adjust the rear shoes?Any help is appreciated people.
