2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission drum to disc conversion

Anybody have a parts list and a rough estimate on what it would cost to convert my rear drum brakes to disc? I've got a 99 3500. Thanks in advance.

If you could find someone that could machine some good quality brackets to mount the calipers on then you could cut your cost dramactically. IMPO from being in off-roading for a couple of years and seeing many rear-disk conversions on Chevy 14-bolt full floating rear ends the aftermarket kits are WAY overpriced. I'm not trying to bash any of these companies that sell the disk conversion kits just simply stating my personal opinion.



Do a search on here, and you should see how easy it is to do the swap.

Here is what I did..........

At the time there were no after market kits for 3500's. I still don't think anyone has made it yet.

EDIT: I went all OEM, a lot of these parts are now available from NAPA etc. Some are still dealer only.
