2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Dryer O-rings

Replaced Heater Core, Evaporator core and dryer today. The dryer had red o-rings included already installed. This is a Mopar part. Are these red o-rings meant to be used or just for packing to seal the caps? They look better then the green ones I bought at Oreilly's. Anyone use the red ones? Thanks, Ronnie

I recommend using the red ones. They are a better quality O-ring. I've used the green ones before in a pinch and had them leak.
