Rip got my DSS to me very quickly. Great service! I installed it yesterday in about 45 minutes. The whole concept is so simple, yet soooo effective. I'm quite happy with the performance and feel this will extend the life of my steering box for a very long time. The truck doesn't wander anymore and you don't have to anticipate the turns anymore, you just start the turning when you get to it. What a concept. Dodge should buy this design from Darren and make him a rich man. It should be available to everyone as a recall modification! FREE! Take the plunge, it is worth the very low price.

Got mine on too!! Oo. Oo. I put a pictue of it installed in my gallery :eek:

Truck is much tighter, now I need to upgrade the POS steering shaft. :-{}

Where in Maine is Limerick ? :confused:

Limerick is in South Central, Maine. Just a bit South West of Sebago Lake. Be careful upgrading your steering shaft. Make sure it would collapse properly in the case of a frontal collision.

Is New Brunswick on this side of Canada? (guess I could just dig out a map) We gotta' get up there someday. Except for Peter Jennings, I found Canadians to really be great people. I love to go restaraunt hopping in different places and try traditional dishes. Any Suggestions? I'm also dying to go to Louisiana and gobble up some Creole dishes too. Hmmm, Do I go North. . . or South. . . sigh. . . never enough time. :D Either way, I'd like to meet up with some members and toss back a few pints :)

I'm thinking that I"ll put in a Borgeson, looks like a popular model.

Any other aftermarket brands that I should consider?

New brunswick is indeed on the east coast of Canada, in factwe are next door to you. Go to Calais and cross the bridge. Or north on I-95 until it ends at the border, and become NB Route 95. :cool:

There are many local dished you might like to try, but many would be very similar to a traditional Maine dish. Lobster and the like.

You could always try some of the acadian dishes, save you a trip to New OLeans.

thanks

I haven't had any problem with my steering shaft so haven't bothered to look into it. I think I'll leave the front-end alone for now, as I'm pretty happy with it. . . finally. Glad to see we are neighbahs.

We are transplants to Maine, so I was unaware of Acadian cuisine. I'll check it out. We moved out here from Los Angeles, (ten years of unhapiness, left farrrr behind!) We have been woring on our property so much that we haven't taen the time to explore our new region. We are going camping on a little island on Cupsuptic Lake in the Rangley area in mid-October though. Hoping to see some Moose!

I'm interested in installing a DSS on my truck and I don't want to wait for two months to buy it direct. What is Rip's contact info?

Thanks,

Ben
