Wow

Quality product at a fair price. 250. 00

Install time about 1/2 hr.

I have a 2" lift on the truck (spacers).

The front wheel was not centered in the wheel well. It was pulled back because of the 2" lift.

The DT arms move the axle forward 1/2" .

Now the tires are centered in the wheel well. Oo.

I did the install in my driveway.

It was very a simple remove and replace.

I checked the caster with an angle finder before I started and adjusted it to the same spec.

The truck seems to handle better and less road noise is transferred to the cab.

2 thumbs up!

Thanks for the information! :D I've been contemplating the purchase of a set of these (OE length) for my Ram.

Trac bar

Do you also have the DT trac bar to bring the axle back to center. I was considering doing both the trac bar and links to bring my axle back to center in both directions. How is your steering now after the change do you need an alignment? And did you get both upper and lower for that price? Let us no how well it does later. What size tires are you running? I have been waiting to here of someone trying these. :D

I put them on my truck and an very happy with them. I have the + 1/2 inch also. I have skyjacker D25 coils. I painted my arms silver.

I have 16x10 wheels with 315s and have NO tire contact now lock to lock. They used to rub slightly on the rear of the wheel well on full turn.

I'll try to get a pic to work. I guess I can't, sorry.

Try this link. There's a couple of pics there.

33x12. 50 tires on 16. 5 rim's .

I have never had bad tire wear.

I have had my DT track bar for 2 years.

Not only do the arms look cool they work great.

The tire fit's the wheel well much better and no tire rub(did not rub before).

I don't think you would need an alignment if you use an angle finder to make sure the axle does'nt move.

Do 1 side at a time that way the axle is held in place by the oposite side during R&R.

looks great

very very

where do we go to get prices? can i take these to the powder coater and not worry about the heat affecting anything?

Nathan - wow, I love the blue highlights in your engine compartment. Is that a powder or jet hot type of coating, or paint?

If I didn't get the full Skyjacker lift kit which included all 4 new control arms with heim joints at both ends, I'd get these in a heart beat. I do like the extra wiggle of the double heim joints in mine though, but these DT arms are awesome!!

TMTT,

Thanks for posting the pic. :)

Tom,

Thanks. My engine parts are just painted. ;)

americana,

The DT arms are powder coated gloss black. That is the standard color. They will do custom colors for a little extra or you can get them 'un-finished' if you want to do it yourself. Try http://www.dtprofab.com/dodge.htm You'll have to call for prices and specifics.

nblack, very nice truck. I like your rear cup holders. Where did you get that billet oil filler cap, gotta get one of those.

Thanks,

Bill

JIM S.

The DT arms have urethane bushings.

wlowe,

Thank you. I made the oil filler cap as one of my school projects. I've searched everywhere I can think of and haven't been able to find any for our application.

americana,

Thanks, no problem. ;)

Tom,

It is a 'full time job' keeping my truck clean here in the Pacific Northwest with all the Liquid Sunshine we get.

You said you only have the level springs? What is the offset on your wheels? I am looking at wheel and tires again but don't want any rubbing. I'm thinking of 17"X9" wheels with 315X70X17 with 4. 5" offset. If any one out there has this combo let me know if they rub. I have level spacers and if I need to I'll get the longer links also. Any input would be great... ... ... . Nice truck N
