DT Trackbar Group Buy!!!!

Hey everybody,



As I said a while back, once I got down to school I was going to look into a group buy on the DT Trackbars because I live in the town where they're built. Well, I went and talked to Dave at DT today, and he said he'd give us a break on a group purchase. Here's how it's going to work.



10 bars and we get them for $305... that's $20 off (i know, not much, but still something). He wants me to compile a list of names for firm orders, then YOU will contact HIM and do the money thing straight to him... all I am doing is compiling the information so he has a referance to go off when people order them.



I would like to get 10 firm orders if I can... there is no time limit, but I'd like to get 10 within about 2 weeks to get this thing moving.

I'm #1, so we need 9 more to get things moving.

Sounds good but I hate to see anyone get as from what I have read and my own experience they are the pits to deal with.

since you live in his town... . ask him when he is going to make one compatable with the MagHytec front cover... there are a bunch of us that need his stuff but also want our covers left on

I did ask him today if his works with the Hytec front cover, but knew the answer was no. I'll tell you what though, if I go to work for him in a couple weeks like I would like to, and like he sounds like he'd like me to, in doing CAD work for upcoming projects, I'll try to get a setup designed and built for the MagHytec guys. From the way things look to me, it wouldn't take much of a re-design of the mounting bracket and it would work, but then again I haven't been intricate with one yet.



I'll let you know soon on what he says about this.

That's halfway there... 5 more needed. Oh, and for reassurance, once this deal starts to move, I will PERSONALLY make sure that ever order is filled on time, and everything goes smoothly. There will be no waiting once things are finalized and set.

Looks like maybe designing that new bracket or whatever it will take could be more promising then he thinks. Will talk with him about it soon. Josh



I'd hope that one of you with the MagHytec would be willing to do measuring and take pictures of the setup so I/he would know what it will take for the clearance?

Once we have the 10 that we need, I will collect the individual information for the list I am giving to him... if you'd like to post now, that'd be fine, but not a requirement.



If I get a chance, I'm going to run into town and talk to him today about the one for the guys with the MagHytec.
