Last thing Dave told me was that he hadn't been able to contact anyone at Mag-Hytec that could set him up w/ a pan or info. He said when he called the main boss was out, but I think was supposed to be back this week??? The other thing he had said was that he was seriously starting to consider having his own pan built for both diff's and the transmission. Figured he could make/sell for less then the Mag Hytec and still have the same benefits.



The other way he's thinking is to do a "core charge" program if he can find a way to modify the Mag Hytec pans to work with his bar... . if he can do this, it would be a swap program where he'd send you the new/modified pan w/ a core charge equivalent to that of a new Mag Hytec, but it would be refunded in full once he received your old pan, which in turn he would modify and sell again. He said he hasn't been able to look at one yet though, so he's not sure if the modification will be able to happen.



Again, if anyone has actual info/pictures of exactly what happens w/ the DT trackbar and Mag-Hytec pan (when the bar hits the pan and destroys it or whatever) he and I would both like these. I haven't seen much info on this as of yet.

There's the website. Am unsure about the 2wd question, but if the trackbar setup is the same as a 4wd, then it can do nothing but help.



BTW, Mine is probably going on tomorrow. Will post any tips/tricks I learn.

EDIT: Ok, i just went to the site... looks like 4x4 only.

There is not an axle to locate with a trackbar in a 4X2. A DSS on the other hand would help.

Hey everybody,



Just an update... I didn't get in to talk to Dave today. Turns out the 2 hour job I had planned to replace the trackbar ended up more like 4. 5 hours. Oh well, it's on, and I will be making a new post about putting it on. Will go talk to Dave tomorrow mid-morning.

WOW surprising you got the ZR part! The moog was not put on by me, it was the previous owner. I race vintage sleds, Yamaha and Sno Jet Thunder Jets. Does that let me in?... ... ... ... ... Brian

ZR600, Yes, you can get in on this deal. PM me with your personal info, name and address, and I'll get that stuff to Dave tomorrow. After that you'll be able to email him and order your bar.



BTW, for TMTT and others. I went and talked to Dave on Friday, but didn't have time to post on here before I left for Reno. When I talked to him on Friday he had received 4 emails and shipped 3. Still had one left to ship (I'm assuming it's TMTT's). I bought 2 directly from him, so all in all that was 6 of the 8 names I gave him.



I still haven't gotten confirmation back from blkdawdg about whether or not he emailed/ordered or from jjohannessen, but he's in Kuwait so doesn't have lots of time for internet.



I'd appreciate it if the others would let me know when they receive their bars so I know things are going out correctly.
