I have been having the infamous death wobble probelms w/ my '96 3500 and I am about to wits end on fixing the problem. The truck starts jumping after a series of bumps on the road. I have replaced all of the balljoints, tie rods, and I just put a brand new skyjacker lift on the truck. The only thing left to replace in the front-end is the trackbar and the sway bar. To me the skyjacker and DT trackbar look almost identical to me. Which one is better? The skyjacker sells for about $215 and the DT at about $350. Would a moog be a waste of money? Any info would be appreciated.

Just checked recently for myself , the skyjacker only works on 4" to 7" lifts, I guess they dont think you need to center your axle from 3" on down. DT makes two , one from 0" to 3",and one 3" to 6". I think moog is a stock replacement , would only work to about 2 1/2" lift with minimal axle offset , as would a stock bar with a luke`s link. Or wait for Solid steel ind. to finish the one they are building , thats what I`m going to do I think . Good luck .

Get thet DT, I have heard alot of people bash on the skyjacker.

Some have had the adjustment cam end move on them, which is not good, where the DT is adjusted by the heims it eliminates that problem.

Another problem is it comes ready for a 7" lift and some with lesser amounts you have to cut down the bar so it's the right lenght. One person I know of had to cut it so much he had to have it rethreaded as he cut too much of them out.

Just go do a search at www.pavementsucks.com and you can read all of that stuff.
