Truck is bucking, acting like starving for fuel when going uphill at low speeds cruise control off. Sets the above codes. First time problem. Other related threads suggest cleaning electrical contacts at the TPPS, checking wiring, reassembling, etc. clearing codes and test driving. Then I guess if that doesn't solve issues, replace the sensor. Where is the throttle pedal position sensor on my 2003 auto? Is it relatively straightforward to access/replace? Just trying to map out a strategy and try and minimize getting ripped off at the dealer.

Mine is an 04 an the APPS is mounted under the driver side battery. II belive yours may be above the injecter pump. I had the P2121 code and I had to replace it. Its not cheap, if I remember about $225. Once you replace it you have to learn the computer that there is a new one. I believe turn key on not running depress pedal 3 times and turn key off. Its been a while since I had to do mine

APPS on your truck is on the upper driver side fornt corner under the black cover. You will want a Timbo APPS to replace that one.
