DTC U3017 again!

I first got a DTC U3017 when the truck was new. I erased it and it never came back. Later, I got the update flash that fixes it. Never saw it again until yesterday. One U3017 and one U3017 pending. About 13,800 miles on the truck now.

The truck was idling for about 15-20 minutes, somewhat nose down in my driveway while I put my camper back on. After the camper was on again I noticed the CEL.

I don't know if the 9 speaker amplifier replacement a couple of days ago had anything to do with it or not. I thought the dealer tech might have knocked something loose under the dash while working there. I looked all around the amp and everything looks OK.

Anyone else ever get a U3017 after the update flash? It's a communication error so I doubt it will leave me stranded anywhere, just annoying. I erased the codes and I'll report back if it happens again.

Update

Took a 500 mile trip since the reset, never came back. Just another computer "burp".

I have had this happen at least 4 times. The latest was last Wednesday. Had 3 EVIC warning messages then the CEL came on. Cleared up after about 10 minutes but left the CEL. The next morning my touch screen locked up along with having the CEL. After sitting all day the screen worked fine except for the CEL which finally went off this morning. According to the dealer there is " no fix as yet". Lack of communication between the ECM and PCM. I find this hard to believe. Does any one no different? FYI, I just resubscribed to TDR yesterday and have not added a profile as yet. This is a 2014 3500 4x4 SRW Aisin
