A buddy of mine and I checked the diagnostic codes on his truck today. We got the following codes, in this sequence:

P PCU

P done

P ECU

P done

I know what the P done's mean, however, I've never seen the P done show up then go back and list another code. What do these codes mean, if anything? BTW, his truck seems to run perfect and is a totally stock 2001 auto 4X4.

Thanks for the help! I'm sending him a link to this question so he can read the feedback.

My '02 does the same thing. As far as I know it just means that all is well. I could be wrong but when I asked that exact same question a month ago that was the response I got.

codes?

Could ECM = Engine control module and PCM = Powertrain control module, possibly? There are multiple computers in our trucks especially autos

I got the same thing, then hooked up a OBD scanner( RD Harrison), scanner said no codes.

I agree with mopars1
