I have a canadian model ram with the daytime running lights and the fuse blew and when replaced they stay on all the time even with key off? any suggestions
check the emergency brake pedal, there is a switch in there that controls the day time running lights, when you engage the E-Brake the day time runnings will turn off, not sure if thats the problem but it's a start
also check the relay, that could be the cause also
If the DRL module is the same as a '97 try this. Unplug the module. It is located on the driver side fender well about a foot from the firewall. This will turn off the headlights. The DRL module is what has failed and a new one is about $100. 00 from the dealer. The patch, which has done just fine on my '97 for over a year involves placing a jumper wire on the vehicle side of the plug that you just un-plugged from the DRL module. I'm not smart enough to attach pictures to this post. If you will send me your Email address I will Email the pictures I took when I figured it out.
