DTT and 48RE

I have done enough research and am ready to have my 48RE upgraded. DTT has referred me to a shop in Redding, Ca. They seem very knowledgeable on the phone; but before I drive 400 miles to leave my truck for a week to have the work done I would like some feedback from any CTD owners who may have used this shop.



Did the shop do good work?



Were you happy with the DTT upgrade?

I second that on J&H, talked to them at May Madness fro a bit and told them they had a good reputation, always nice to give credit were credit is due!

Joel and Harvey are great guys,we had a great time hangin out with them at May-madness. While one of the trucks was racing it developed a transmission problem,it was a Dtt transmission they had built. They dropped what they were doing and took of business. I know they are a great company to do business with and they won't let you down!!

If your from down south and are coming up to redding there is a DTT certified installer about 5 minutes from my house its about 45 min north of Sacramento. He has built quite a few of my buddies trannies all DTT stuff and he does outstanding work.

You won't go wrong by having Jewel upgrade your transmission. My '99 went south on me while traveling from Seattle to Scottsdale. Called Bill K. on a Sunday at home. He referred me to J&H and both of those guys went out of their way to get me back on the road. My DTT transmission upgrade by Jewel far exceeds the stock transmission and I highly recommend them.
