Yes, I am a tru DTT believer. As Massdiesel says... ... ... "Driving is believing"... ... ..... Period.

Todd, your truck did sell me on the transmission mods, and Scott's and Johns's trucks sold me on the performance mods. BTW, I just turned the rollers to 350rwhp and 771 ft lbs. :D Oo.

Chuck, Massdiesel has customers that have come from North Carolina up to Massachuesetts just to have their transmission worked on by a trained DTT installer. As stated above, call DTT and ask where the nearest trained installer is from your location. I would also like to suggest that you find someone near you that has DTT mods in their truck and see if they will take you for a ride or let you drive their truck. You really will be satisfied.

Best of luck

DTT all the way. I removed a BD valve body when all the DTT goodies were installed. The BD valve body has to go back to DTT for the core charge but I'd be happy to sell it to you for the same.

(Bill K. isn't real excited about taking it anyway, go figure. . :)

Don't let people scare you about the crossmember. It's a piece of cake. Ya just gotta be smarter than the steel... . The crossmember

is a tapered design. It has to go in from the TOP and then tapped DOWN into position. To remove it, (after everything else is removed) just tap it straight up with a hammer (well, one or two good wails might be needed. . ) and move it up about 2". You'll then be able to remove it straight back and out with no problem. . Atleast that's how it's suppose to work. :) :)

Have fun.

I've had DTT since Nov. 00. I can truly say that I would not have anything else. When you absolutely, positively got to have the best... accept no substitutes... DTT.

Steve

i drove 500 miles from hagerstown MD to MASSDIESEL on nov 17. i was in and out in a day, it was long but well worth the trip. after my complete transmission upgrade my truck is completely different. scott is right, you have to drive it to believe it. scott and john both know their stuff and are fast and very good. you wont regret the upgrade.

I was wondering how many people we have now with the DTT trany. mods, and how they still like them?

:-laf:-laf:-laf:-laf Are you serious? My DTT transmission enhancements were/are the only thing separating me from buying a new 6-speed 3500 4x.

I have had the DTT transmission upgrade for just over a year now and couldn't be happier! :D:D:D:D

The reason Bill does not want a BD TC or VB core is because he can't use either in the construction of a DTT TC or VB. Both components are modified by or for BD in ways that render each, worthless to DTT... I know because I had the BD full meal deal before I went with DTT.

I have over 40k in a little over a year with no problems. When I buy another CTD, it will be an automatic with DTT mods. A great product from a great company. :p

Kevin,

Thanks for fessing up. it takes a good man (on the TDR) to admit there are some problems with DTT's products, just as there are with any mechanical product.

That is a cheap shot and IMO a BS statement.

If the transmission is out of adjustment its not DTT fault.

Bill K and crew did my install on April 01 and is flawless in every way.

Kev, you need to call Bill.

Bob,

Sorry if I hurt your feelings, but it was not meant as a cheap shot. I think the cheap shot was you stateing mine was and trying to cover up the fact that all products can have a flaw in them and there design, no matter whos product it is. AS you can see I did not mention anyones product, just ,makeing a general statement that is true. Man some of these DTT guys are sure touchy about there transmissions. One of the reasons I didn't go with DTT products. I know we all can be anal about things but don't go jumping all over a person for congratulateing some one for being better than perhaps even myself.

The fact of the matter is the more a product is out in public and the more product you sell there are going to be a higher number of things that can go wrong.

case in point: If I had a product out on the market for, lets say for aguements sake, ten years and I sold 100 times more product than someone who has been selling a product simular to mine but he has been doing it for only two years and only sells a tenth of the amount of product that I do then there are going be more chances of problems croping up with my product but the statistics could show different just because of the numbers involved.

Ron

Didn't read to me like Kevin said that the DTT products had flaws. What he actually said was that some adjustment is needed. That is normal, and no cause for concern, and is not a flaw of the product. Just an adjustment needed. Bill is only a phone call away. Simple.

DTT MODS

Oo. Hey Chuckster Glade to see you walk the walk now:D You got me going on the bombing thing:D and I just can't stop Oo. Bakers in Ogden is the Man in Utah to get Hooked up for DTT / Mods He will do you a great job . . :D :D :D

Thanks Briar

One question ronsram1999 If I remember correctly if a DTT approved installer was located in your area you would be riding a different horse. no?

Now, Now... ... ... ... . lets not start one of those:-{} !!

In all fairness Bob is exactly right. I was NOT complaining about it. I had my install done at HB Dodge, and John Scott and his crew did a super install and have since proven to be invalueable friends to me and my truck. :) :) John knows about my issues and is merely waiting for me to find the time to get it done. ;)

HOWEVER... ... ... I would also have to respectfully disagree with Bob on a "flawless in every way" product. I would think that every one here would agree that most any product is constantly being improved upon, and I know that DTT is no exception. Hell..... that's what makes them great. Am I unhappy with my DTT?? Heck no! I love it. But I for one think there is ALWAYS room for improvement. And besides, like was already brought up... ... ... ... ..... time will tell.

Kev

Kevin,

I didn't say you were complaining, I just said that you had problems with your set up also, it was the other guys that started it, honest

Bob,

If you remember right I didn't install DTT products because of other problems with DTT, and yes that was one of the reasons but not the only one or two or three or. It would also help if you had a disclaimer in your signature.

Ron

Some people will never understand what others are trying to explain.

I graciouly bow out for now,,, because I didn't join the TDR to have ******* matches, I joined to get more information than I will probably ever know.

Besides it's bed time here and the wife is call.

Good night,

Ron
