Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) DTT Noise Filter is great!

Installed my DTT Noise filter today. Took all of about 10 minutes, including removing the air filter for access. What a difference it has made. Not only are the lock/unlock and in/out of OD issues that I was having ( Which was never figured out by dealer) but trans just seems to shift smoother. Truck feels new again. These things should come standard on auto trucks ( if Dodge doesnt fix the noise issue)



Anyone with any trans issues such as lock/unlock or in an out of OD should try this as the very first fix ( I learned after a $400 OD solenoid replacement! DAMN!) Aprox $45 for the noise filter from DTT!!

It is listed on their site, but only in the price list I believe. Give them a call like Snoking suggested and they can tell u all about it.



Basically it cleans up the signal to and from the TPPS and the transmission so that the trans does not go in and out of TC lock up repeatedly and in my case also took care of in and out of OD too.

I am having the same problem with the shifting of the transmission up and down between 40-50. When I disengage OD it does the same betweeen 30-40. What is this noise filter and how is it changed? I am a naildriver and not a mechanic. Have some wrench turning experience. Can anyone help?

JMasello, that is what mine was doing too. This has completely eliminated the problems. It seriously takes all of about 5 minutes to install. You T-Tap the appropriate wire for your truck and run one wire to a ground. Thats it!



Made a world of difference.
