Hey guys, I just picked up my truck from Fred at Desert Diesel in PHX and drove back last night!!
What an incredible improvement over stock!!
I have the DTT 89 percent torque converter, valve body and update kit... Instead of the random mushy shifts and hunting for a gear at 35mph's in town, I now have a transmission that shifts sweet and at the right time all the time
Fred took the time to show me the internal's of the DTT update kit compared with stock. . The difference is amazing, you get 5 clutches instead of 4, a heavier 2nd gear band, and a whole host of other things that are much beafier than stock. . I was sure impressed!!
The stage 2 injectors are a bunch o fun too. . the truck builds speed rapidly and will only smoke if the boost is not up when you floor it
To say that I am impressed with the products of these two companies, DTT and DDT, is a understatment, these people are geniuses when it comes to the mighty DODGE CUMMINS!!!
For anyone in the desert southwest, I would HIGHLY recommend Fred of Desert Diesel in PHX for the installs. . He is friendly, works hard and knows his stuff with these trucks!!
