Looks like I'll be heading up to see James (inarush) this next weekend (1-17). He is doing the install of the transmission components of the power puller package + transmission upgrade!! I elected to do the install of the injectors and the Edge Comp (upgraded from EZ) to save $.

My concern is the drive back home, about 240 miles. I'll have a transmission that will hold, but no power enhancements (I'll install these after I get home). Can the comp be plugged in, without mounting everything in the cab, and ran like an EZ untill I get back home?

Doesn't matter as you will have the :D factor going on, You will be more than pleased with James's work, I have 25K worth of hard miles in his transmission now.

Hook the comp up completely, just run it on 1X5 and all is good. When you leave after the transmission is done set it on 5X5, and get ready for the pryo to go places it has never been:eek:

Yes you can hook up the comp just like a EZ and leave it under the hood. The only thing Different is you will need to hook up the power wire to the comp. Just add a fuse to the end of the wire and hook into the underhood power center or to the battery. You can hook up the extra pump wire later when you have time to do a good job. After you hook up power set the comp on 1x5. It normally is on 1x3 from the factory. If you need help feel free to call 505-534-0434 Kurt
