DTT Smart Controller

I have ordered a DTT auto transmission rebuild for my 48RE so I can add an exhaust brake and power enhancements. I tow a 12,000 lb 5th wheel camper.



My question to those who have added the DTT Smart Controller - at an installed price of around $700 is this worth the cost?

I just installed it the other day in my '99 it took about 2 hours. The directions are very clear, concise, and easy to follow. I did have to grind a little on the second gear micro-switch bracket and bend it slightly to get it to line up properly(took 10 minutes). It works great.

Worth every penny IMOH. I don't know how easy it to instal for Vinney at DTT put mine in, seems like it took him an hour. Instal set it up & had to trouble shoot a little do to I have a calif. truck.
