Just wondering, does everyone leave their SC on all the time, even when not using their exhaust brake? Would there ever be a time when it is advantageous to turn it off?
I leave mine on unless I am behind people that have a hard time driving and the speed varies from 50 to 60 mph. The overdrive is set to engage at 55 mph and disengage under 55 which makes the trans constantly shift with their varying speeds. Turning it off returns the system to stock overdrive settings which gives more room for the overdrive. I really do not prefer to lock out the overdrive unless I am towing hard and heavy.
