TxDieselKid,
Well I am not really sure how new this is, or what the availability is. These are listed on the price page on Bill's site, there are a few members who have them, and many of us know about them, they are also mentioned on his brochure. So I dont think there is any "top secret" stuff here.
In general when you connect an exhaust brake to an automatic transmission they dont work so well unless you have something to keep the TC locked up. Some use a manual lockup switch. BD sells a thing called an AutoLoc. DTT has the smartcontroller.
The DDT smartcontroller is the way to go. Has a ton more features that the others do. Does not destroy your transmission like some do. Quite a bit of user adjustments, the TC Saver feature, some other feature I cant remember, and the Ebrake controller, which includes a bunch of stuff I can remember off the top my head either. Maybe other can help out there.
I am interested in learning about all the connections that have to be made to the truck to wire one of these in.
