I am scheduled in at the DTT shop the 21st of June, I have a little slippage going on. I can't wait to see how the thing performs after the DTT upgrade.

Rob, Just out of couriosity ask Bill what was slipping and post it on this thread, my stocker was slipping also when we did the upgrade. Your going to laugh you a$$ off at the stock transmission after the fact. Maybe you should have had an appointment at Piers for the 22nd:D

Ok I'll ask him. The only modifications I have done are the #8 TST plate and ISSPRO pillar gauges.

You've only begun to feel the force... . Don't fight it..... :D :D :D

After the DTT install your trans will be able to handle more power, so stop at PDR as was mentioned earlier. Have Piers put in a #4 plate, DD3s or 370s, a 4K GSK, HX40, 4 inch exhaust, Physcotty II and you will be real happy. Real poor, but real happy.

Forgot to add delivery valves.

I am already poor. I am married with children. Maybe I can sell the house and live in the trailer, except I don't think the wife will go for that.

I'm sure once you explain to her it's a disease and you couldn't help yourself she'll understand... ... ... ...

She might understand. Really. After my last dyno run, the first thing my wife said, was "OK what are we gonna get next". And she really did say 'we'.

My Wife's response to anything involving my truck... . " Oh God what does it need now" See what ya have to learn is the truck is a real POS and stuff keeps breaking... ... " Honey I need new Exhaust the old one is rotted out" My next one I'm going to try is... " Honey the Injectors are not working, I need new ones" followed with a sheepish. . " I hope new ones aren't that expensive" :D :D :D

It would be bad Glenn... I have 14 years invested in training this one :) We will see if the training pays off when she finds out that I want a Gold Wing.

:{ Yeah, well you all think you have it bad I am getting married in September I just got done having the ring made. Then my transmission started to I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER the bed. Currently I am having the full on upgrade but I am now poor. The sad thing is I have already herd the “o’ no what dose it need now” and I am not even married. :{

I am so lucky

I am so lucky> My wife of 14 years is so happy with the sound and the power of my 95 12 valve (espescialy towing) that she says if it means more power or more safety go for it. She rarly drives it (only solo) she is so impressed with the power that she tells all her friends who say ( you ride in a deisel? They are so noisey. And they stink. She just says- dont try to pass us on a hill when we are towing. And then just smiles) Also we have ridden a Gold Wing for over 62,000 miles. And she loves that too.

I"m a lucky guy! :D

My wife loves my truck but I'm getting nervous with the way my almost 15 yr. old son is looking at it lately!!

Piers took my daughter for a ride in his truck a short time ago. She'll never be the same. Lucky for me she is grown up and moved out. Her hubby to be has to listen to her now.

Well I just got back from DTT and within the first hour I got the question "So how much did that cost" from the wife. She did ask if it works better, which suprised me.

Anyway this is what happened

I was scheduled for a valvebody today so I drove up there yesterday. I pulled the trailer up there so I could stay the night and so Bill K could do a test drive with the trailer. I got there at 9:00PM Thursday night and the crew was still there working. So Bill jumped in the truck and did a test drive. (those guys work long hours) The slippage was mainly from the torque converter, Bill said the overdrive clutchpack could be slipping but the only way to tell is to dig deep into the transmission. So this frist thing this morning they changed out the valve body and we took it for a drive. It works great I tested it on every hill on the six hour drive back home.

It shifts better and the torque converter locks up real good.

The next trip up there will be for a complete rebuild and new torque converter, just need the $$$$$
