Anyone in Phoenix interested in getting your own firsthand impression of Bill Kondolay's
VB and TC for the Automatic, post here, or send me an e-mail directly.
My initial impression is this product does exactly what Bill says it will do. It is
unbelievable how much more power gets to the rear wheels now.
Another observation is that the fuel mileage does increase in stop and go traffic. I'll
keep posting more results on this thread of the mileage.

Towing: With my trailer and Rock Buggy(5500 lbs. ), it is amazing how the transmission stays
smooth and consistent on its shifting and revving. It quite literally feels like the load is not there, and you are driving just the truck.
Plus if interested, I can perform the installation for you.

Mileage is up around 16 to 16. 5 in the city stop and go traffic. Before I was averaging 14 in the city. No, I don't drive slow. Typically I get 16 to 16. 5 on the highway.
No, I don't drive slow there either.

I know there are rammers in Phoenix wanting to take a spin in a RAM with Bill K's transmission mods. C'mon now, speak up!

Dang was just down there visiting the in- laws over the holidays. Would have been great to dissappear for a few hours and check out your truck.

I wonder if there's anyone up here in Colo. Spgs. that has the DTT set-up?

<font color=blue>After Feb 10th there will be 1 truck I know of in the Denver area with the DTT setup. K_Arts and myself are going to Canada in Feb. Talk to Kevin when he gets back and ask for a lift.

Are you aware of the meeting on Jan 14th for CO fellas (and a few oddballs from out of state) check out the events forum for the details.

Briand and Kat, you won't be disappointed. It is so much fun, it'll make you silly. Now I just have to get that HOT PE, then that'll be a rush!

Sorry, I don't live near you folks but, anyone in Western Washington could come and test drive my DTT mods. There's another fellow TDR member close by who just recently did the Kondolay switch. He too is greatly satisfied. #ad

I wish I were there. I would take you up on that offer in a heartbeat. My transmission is not much longer in this world and I am going to do something. I have been looking into this for a couple of months and it looks like DTT is the way to go. If there is anyone within 4 or 5 hours of Milwaukee that would make the same offer please let me know. You could audition my VA or something.

Okay, with all of the debate on the transmission stuff, I have to revive my thread. Now anyone want to see for themselves the difference. Whether you have a stock, BD or anything else, chime in. Take it for a test yourself. Wish I could make it to Texas in February for Bill's visit.

Briand,

I've had the DTT TC and VB for several months now. I live at Falcon Hills. Drop me an email and we'll link up for a test drive if you want. Are you gonna make it to the meet on Sunday?

I had Bill do his thing with my auto transmission between Christmass and new years. Big difference, especialy starting out with a trailer behind. Empty feels like a hot gasser going thru the gears. I live in Olympia Washington and if anyone wants to talk to me about it e-mail me. See my signature for other mods.

Hey David, Bill told me he had just installed a new TC and VB in a customers Ram from Olympia,WA. I'm curious, what efficiency TC did you purchase? The 91% model? Also, about what power level are you at (BHP)?
