Somewhere in here (TDR) I posted pictures years ago of the dual remote system I installed back around 60K miles with the battery bracket I designed. Truck now has 275K miles. I haven't changed the oil since; but I had enough leaks and loss so the oil's been 'changed' fairly often. I've generally changed the full flow filter at 7500-10000 miles and the bypass with every other full-flow filter change. The dual remote moves the full flow filter up to where it is easily accessible. I've never had a lick of trouble with the hoses I built using the Amsoil-supplied parts; I protected them where they might chafe through.

What year model truck do you have?

Where do you get to much flow for bypass? The orifice on the bypass mounting block is the restriction. The rest of the flow goes thru the regular filter on the block. Either way the Blackstone results prove the system is working.

It's too much flow becuase you have a 1/4" line stealing oil from your motor. The bypass isn't getting it, but the full flow on your dual remote system is. That's a 1/4" line of oil that isn't going to lube and cool your block.

Despite what the UOA says you are stealing too much oil from the pressure lube system, and it may not pick up on it. What is telling you to change your oil at 16K miles?

Like I said the 1/4" hose has 6300% more area than the 1/32" orifice that provides the 10% flow limit. You have far exceeded the limit of bypass flow. A 5/8" hose is all thats needed to fully flow all the oil in the system, and a 1/4" hose is closer to that than it is the 1/32" restriction needed for a bypass.

I am not sure what you are missing in there, but the point is simple... remove that setup and put a BMK-21 in its place. You already have the hoses run, and a BMK-21 will probably yield better results as it will put more oil thru the bypass than you are now.
