I was just looking at my truck and thinking about twins. Then TDR threads started popping into my head.
It seems the concensus is that the CP3 will support just under 700 hp before it runs out of fuel.
In my simple mind, since the truck has a common rail, couldn't you supplement the fuel rail with extra fuel from a second injector pump plumbed into the same rail?
I would think it would be relatively simple to control both pumps with the same signals, right?
I guess the difficult thing would be driving the second pump, unless someone could utilize an accessory drive like you would for a blower.
I don't know too much about these motors, so I thought I'd just toss it out there. Any ideas?
