Call Rip. He'll give you the straight poop on this one.

I aided in one of Rip's installs once. Went in nicely, fit well, smoked evenly and looked sharp. I didn't drive it so I can't comment on drone.

I'm also interested in Rip's dual kit- Am I a jerk for wanting this just for those situations when I'm sitting at a stoplight next to a bass-thumping scion that happens to be on the LEFT of my truck??

Maybe you could install something that would allow all the smoke to go to which ever side the jerk is thumping..... :-laf

I know that MBRP make a dual system. I have the single and it was a breeze to install, not sure as to the dual system. http://www.dieselperformanceparts.com/index.html

Give Mark a call he will shoot straight with you and give you a good TDR price as well. Tell him Wallace sent you.

hey moeller, were you at Terre Haute this year with that truck? I think i rember those stacks with the caps. Jim

My dad and I were at SDX, but didn't bring the truck. :( If I wasn't buying a house, it would've been there. :D

moeller, had stacks, too loud for my son and i do a lot of interstate driving. stacks look good though! shell

Thanks for the compliment. :) I have a Dynaflex resonator on mine. Works great. No drone at all. If my mom and sister are with me as well (we've taken it a 4hr trip for Thanksgiving before), they both stick Kleenex in their ears.

I run with the windows down a LOT. :D :-laf Even part way down in the dead of winter, IF the windows aren't froze shut. :-laf

Duals out the back are the best for blowing smoke on imports.

If you want to blow smoke on either side, yep. I use my smoke on tailgaters. I HATE those people. I can black out both lanes on the interstate if I want to. :--) :-laf

i have the mbrp "cool duals" on my truck. they were a breeze to install. smokes evenly. i will try to get some pics for you.

I am running a 4" dual set up from WarpSpeed Performance. Install wasn't to bad, a little harder than a single. Mine is a little loud for my taste but has no drone. The dual tailpipes do a good job of killing the drone. It came with a 8" X 24" muffler. I am going to try a 9" X 40" muffler soon. Smoke seems equal out each side.

I have duels by Rip, with resonator and a 34" Donaldson muffler. They smoke evenly with no drone and I think they look just right with the 5" megaFlows.

Dave, they do not smoke up the bumper at all. They protrude maybe 1" past the bumper. I pull a 5th wheel trailer and it shows very little smoke on the trailer, even after a long pull, like to May Madness last May. I think that means that I need to fiddle with the star wheel a little bit, not enough smoke. :D
