Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) dual exhaust

I'm thinking of upgrading my exhaust from stock and really like the looks of duals out the back. Does anyone have pics of their trucks with a dual exhaust system?



Whats brand, thoughts etc on the system?

Hey JC, Couldnt tell if you have short bed or not,but if you do,duals can be a real PITA. Me and rip rook had a hard time with the clearance on my SB. I ended up taking my spare out and putting it under my hard bed cover. My duals come out behind the rear tire at an angle,as I didnt want the smoke and the sound hitting my camper. I went with an Allied truck muffler and no res. It sounds good but not too loud. You can hear the turbo whine pretty good ! I basically went from one of Rips 4" exhaust into the muffler and out into two 3" tail pipes with two stainless tips from rip. Rip really went out of his way to make sure everything worked out,at one point talking to my exhaust installer on the phone on his(rips) dime !!

We have a dual system for your truck, currently it's only available in aluminized materials, but comes with dual T-304 rolled edge polished stainless steel tips for each side. In approx 4 weeks we will have the system built in T-304 stainless steel as well. Our tail pipe outlets are aimed out at the rear of the tire approx half way between the rear edge of the fender and the rear edge of it where the bumper edge starts, looks pretty sharp. It's a 4 inch from the turbo to a welded "y" out of the muffler to twin 4 inch tail pipes with twin Stainless tips. Call us if we can answer any questions etc.
