Re: Charged to your Credit Card Problem

NJTackle,
I am a little confused we haven't sold any systems yet, we have only taken orders and we have not charged any credit cards for any order to date. In fact the law requires you to ship within 3 business days of charging a customers credit card.
Your comments
"What I don't understand and believe in are business ethics that involve charging/billing a customer for a product which has a unrealistic ship date. I'd be much happier if told upfront if it was 2 months away then 2 weeks, and then another 2 weeks, and then…etc. while I have already paid my credit card for services I haven't received yet…. and don't know when I'll get them!?!?"
Must be directed to another company as we have not doen this and I wanted the membership and you to know we haven't. If you need any help with the systems just call me up.

Mark,
All my comments are not all directed solely to you.
I ordered a Superlift kit from 4wheelparts that was on backorder. I was charged for the kit, given a estimated ship date and then waited. Date passed and was given another date. Finally approx 2 months later I received my parts only to be missing the 1 of required 3 boxes. One week later and 3 days of phone calls to 4wheelparts and Superlift I received my U-bolts.
I placed an order with DPPI for an exhaust for my '04 right on their website. The website says 03+ and not 03 to 04. 5 so I didn't think it would be a problem not fitting my 600. Doing some research I found out the 04. 5 600 motors are different so I called DPPI. Luckily, they didn't ship and I canceled my order. The website should be more specific. Talking with them they said we should have them done in about 2 week or so. That was at least 4 week ago (not positive on dates so these are estimates).
I found the MBRP website which has a listing for the 04. 5 so I called. Eric says we don't have them complete but expect to ship in 1 to 2 weeks so I ordered. This was 3 weeks ago and after speaking with one of their reps they are still 2 weeks minimum away. I'll check my CC statement when I get it but I believe my CC was already charged for this kit even though there is no REAL ship date……very similar to how my Superlift kit went above (I called my CC and my outstanding balance seems right with this charge).
So, to say I'm a little upset is probably right on mark.
Sorry if this comes off seeming like a personal attack on anyone individual. It is not. I would prefer people to be realistic with the dates they give out, and not sugar coat them just to get people's business.
So ----- getting back on topic. When and where can I purchase a dual SS turbo back kit for my truck?
Thanks,
ND
EDIT: I just re-read an e-mail from you dated May 26 stating "We have the system in final design and production is to start in 15-20 days. Check back with us and we will have it soon. " To me this means you'll be manufacturing them on or about June 16... maybe ship June 23. Today is June 25. Any updates?
