I am thinking of putting a dual steering stabilizer on my truck and was curious to hear what others are using.

1. what brand?

2. how well do you like it and how well is it working?

3. where did you get it and how much?

4. part numbers if you got them?

I put on the Super lift dual stabilizers. They work fine and they look cool. What I don't like about them is they hang low and you have to cut off the factory bracket making it a permanent change. Plus the paint job on shocks sucked. I had to pull them and repaint them due to rust after less than a year. I got mine from 4wheel parts they cost about $150 and I don't know the part number.

IF it's for looks run a dual stabilizer. They do look good. They might work well also, not sure. If it's for performance buy a KORE.

Kore makes a steering stabilizer? I am not needing or wanting a suspension lift or a change from what I have. I am just trying to help slow the process of steering component wear.

If they do make something in the steering stabilizer department, what information do you have... such as how well it works? Cost? And I guess contact info for Kore. What info can you give me other than just a name?

VStahl,I have the Kore chase system. I run a lot of bad washboard. I bought the Kore stabilizer hoping it would save my steering components also. Haven't had it on that long so I'm not sure how well it works.

I don't think a steering stabilizer is going to prevent premature wear on the front end. If anything it causes more resistance on the front end. It would be good for oversized tires and washboard roads.
