Can I get some input on the dually wheel configuration. I would like to enter a local sled pull but duallies are not allowed. So can I simply take off the outers and go !. Are there two sets of lug nuts or does the outset set hold both wheels.

Thanks

Dennis

You've only got one set of lugs holding the rear duals together. I had to pull mine off to get on a dyno once. When I get a rear dual go flat I just pull the one bad tire off and run with one tire until I get it fixed. Don't see why you can't do that for a pull.

I've ran with 1 wheel before. If you have steel wheel and simulators factory then all that is need is pull the outer wheel off and put the lugs back on. Nothing else needs done. If you have polished wheels and polished lugs, the lugs are probaly capped. This means new uncapped factory style lugs will be needed. This is an expensive adventure. Lug nuts are $13 each for dealer. I can not find any one else that carries them.

Have fun at the pull and get a good laugh at the truck with only one dual. They really look rediculus:D :D

Hitch height, hitch height, hitch height. Remember this when you go to pull. The higher you can get away with the better. That will put more pressure down on your rear wheels, and you will outpull the ones that think they have it won. A wider tire bolted onto a dually from another truck (same height tire) will also help. Go whup them powerjokes. :D
