Dually help wanted

Sorry about jumping in here late but wanted to post my experiance. First dually diesel, about everything these guys have said OK, I did have one problem early on, (actually two), when going through drive ins at wendys, miky dee's, etc, wat the rear fenders as you turn, tight turning at some of these drive throughs. I caught my rear fender on a steel, concrete post about a week after picking her up. lucky some polish and I managed to get most of the scratches off. a lot of places you'll have to turn the engine off when ordering, or drive up to the window to order!

Really enjoy the dually, great stable ride for any vehicle, espeacially a 1 ton truck! enjoy!!

When you back into a parking spot, don't roll back so far that the mud flaps get "pined" between the curb and the rear tires. It will really skin up your BRAND NEW Shinny Genos Chrome mud flap weights. NOT that I PERSONALLY would ever be so careless, thoughtless, distracted, dense, embarrassed.

this I found out after plowing 300ft of drive like I always did and then trying to get down it with the dually. :O

Hey Ralphr, I found the best solution to the "turn the engine off at the drive thru" problem. Instead of yelling the order at the speaker/microphone, now I type the order out on Morse Code using the air horns!

I dont have a Dually but i will agree that diesel engines and drive-thru intercoms dont work well together. Even screaming does not work. All they hear is the engine. Oh well, i just walk in now, good exercise.
