Okay, I know this will probably sound like a silly question, but I really like the look of the dually lights, so I'd like to mount the side lights on my 2500 wheel wells, as well as the rear stop light on the tailgate. Anyone ever tried doing this? If so, is it hard to do? And before anyone asks, the reason I don't have a 3500 is because my HOA covenant won't allow it... they consider a 1-Ton vehicle to be commercial. Thanks for the answers.

A little off track, but as for the HOA, do they check registrations? They would not know the difference between a 3500 SRW and a 2500 if you removed/changed the badges. As for your lights, its just wiring, make sure that you insulate all of the wires from the body of the truck and use soldered connections, not crimp or tap connections. When drilling holes to mount the lights, put masking tape over the area that you are drilling, mark and measure many many times and drill once with a sharp bit. Good luck, and I hate HOA's.

When/if you find out the part numbers, prices and you do the install please let us all know! I'd like to add the tailgate lights on my 3500 SRW. ;)

So far I have the lenses... . side amber lenses are Mopar part #55077459AA, side red lenses are 55077458AA, rear red lens is 05086509AA. I still need to get the harnesses. Believe it or not, we actually have an HOA guy who comes around our development on a regular basis to look for infractions of the rules. I think that when the rules were written back in the early 90's, there was no such thing as a SRW 3500 for any of the Big Three. As such, the Dually was considered to be too wide for the parking spaces, and God knows that we don't want to annoy our neighbors, which is why I'm moving in three years.

Hercules130,

Thanks a lot for the link... . it's just what I was looking for. Glad to see so many great minds think alike. And here I thought that I was being original :)

PATRIOT_Ram,

Thanks for providing those detailed instructions on the installation. I've now got plans to take care of mine.

Now, anybody got surefire install instructions for a Grover Air Horn system? ;)

sounds like that guy a little lesson in minding his own g/damn business and a little "incentive" to not be such a do-gooder. i have a lot of contempt for people like that who feel it's their right through whatever bullsh*t powers they think they have to stick their noses in other people's business. good luck dealing with jerk.
