What not to do during the winter months

FYI Mt and Id members

What kind of rear mudflaps are most people putting on their dually's? I plan on putting dee zee runnings boards on the front with the box boards. I saw some pictures of the Husky flaps for the rear. Anyone have them? Or I was even thinkig about the rubber flaps with the stainless or chrome inserts - kinda like the ones Geno's has. Any suggestions, ideas along with advantages/disadvantages would be greatly appreciated.

Charlie, I put some of the plastic "Dodge" flaps on mine. They mount in holes already on the truck and are very easy to install. I always seem to have a hard time getting em lined up. With these, they go on straight and level from side to side. Have had em on for 3 winters and they are holding up well.

Since your truck is the same as mine, those plastic Dodge flaps from Genos wont fit your truck without drilling a bunch of holes. I just ordered a set and found out the hard way. I don't have the part # handy but it was changed in in 2001 to a new style that fits our's.

Hope it helps!

Ditto, except 4 winters on them.
