No horror stories here, Gene! ;)

If you start having trouble fitting into a spot just use 2 of them. :D

Especially if you get the towing mirrors, you'll find that you can easily back into spots you'd never consider driving into.

For those who, from sheer ignorance, bad-mouth a DRW as "too big", I'll include a quote from a convert [my wife :-laf ] "If you ever get another truck it won't be by trading in this one!"

She loves this one almost as much as I do - and that's saying a whole lot!

Dually!

I have heard all the cons about dually's. Hard to park, added tire costs, bad in snow ect... The only regrets I have is the 2003 I had for 4 months with the automatic but I fixed that when it went the trany blew. I upgraded to a 2004 with the 6 speed and the Jake brake!

I drive in snow 8 months out of the year like todays 8" of fresh powder and it goes fine. As far as parking my 15 year old (permit) drives it with her horse trailer. The tires are alittle expensive and hard to find though.

The best part though is they look cool, especialy in the black sport package with a Denver Off Road Front Bumper and Lightforce lights.

My only problem is that I want Dodge to supply a 4500 or a 5500. I want a bigger dually. Towing a 15000 lb fifth wheel and I am overloaded. Need a bigger Dually.

I'm with you Gene... . I just can't figure why Dodge doesn't make something to compete with the F550, F650 & the Kodiak's... none of which I'd consider buying.

The F650 with the Caterpillar might not be a bad rig but you won't be parking in any malls with that! ]

Same goes for the short bed... I'd get a 10' bed if that were an option!

I had two Furd duallys, and now my 2002 2500HD. As much as I love my truck and plan on keeping it, I have decided that if I had to replace my dodge it would be with a 3500 Dually CTD. I miss the duals, not the blue oval.
