I've got a 1998 2500 4x4 Club cab with the short bed and want to know if anyone has converted one to a Dually? Anyone make fenders? Will a Dually's fenders fit on a short bed?

Hey I've contemplated that very question when tooling down the highway. The fuel filler would present an issue, and I 'think' the front of the dually fender would reach past the front of the bed.

Arrowcraft used to list a dually fender for 94-up Dodge short beds I think it was AF-167S. I can't find it on their web site now but a call to them could confirm if they still have the molds. Their # (248) 280-0210.

I found something... Check near the bottom of this web page. Dually Fenders

I want to say that they do exist. I swear time and time again in the late 90's (Read 97,98,99)I have seen Shorbed dually standard cab 3500's. I either seem to think that SNET (Southern new england Telephone) had them specially made for them or they bought every one made. . . . I seem to think the first. I just am not 100% sure if they were Dodge or Chevrolet. I used to see them everywhere but when I did it was allways waay up ahead , going opposite direction ... etc. When I get home I will start searching for old SNET rigs on the truck traders ,ebays , and autoauctions.

The Dodge dually fender would stick past the shortbox bed on both ends. I held one of mine up to a short box when it was off last year.

For what it's worth, I've had people argue with me that my dually is a short box when the topper is off and the Racerback is on.

I see Fords that are a short bed dually factory. The fuel filler is in the front of the fender. If you are going dually, why not add two feet and go long bed, whats two longer when you are already two feet wider . . . . . .

Our Reg Cab Dually is the shortest WB we could get. But it was a Cab and Chassis model. But if memory serves me right, it is even shorter than the standard p/u with short box on it(by maybe 2") The fuel neck on the tank is just forward of the rear axle.
