Michelin does have a tire available, but as of today it is not on the website yet. (at least by their tire fitment computer. If you look at the LTX, at the very bottom it says they have an LT series now. )

The local Tire Discounters has them for 1200 installed. And in stock to boot.

My commercial tire guy said he could get me the mastercrafts done for 800. 00 inc. mount/bal/equal additive.

I am leaning towards the Rickson setup... but will start a thread for it

My Generals are badly wearing and I only have 13,000 miles on them :--) . I will soon be tire shopping but I will buy 19. 5's before I pay $1200 for a set of 6. Todd
Wow. I have 15,400 on my AmeriTracs and still have all the sipes on all 6 tires. I had to drive to work Friday morning through some moderate snow (about 6-8 inches), and no problems at all.

My 05 has the AmeriTrac OWL TR's with 22. 5K on them. Due to the OWL you can only rotate the outside rears side to side and only those two are wearing fast .

I have been crossing the fronts to the inside rears, then moving the inside rears straight forward, those four have been wearing wonderfully (uncommonly good). this rotation is the same as outlined in the owners manual.

I can tell I will get at least 60K out of them, then onto the Michelin's LTX M/S.

So why are the outside rears wearing faster than the others? :(

Mac

My neighbor has the RWL Generals(05 dually 4x4) with 50k plus and plenty of tread left! Tows 90% of the time. Lots more tread then I have at 20k on the Goodyears.

I replaced the OEM GYs with Cooper Discover STs on my 04. Like the tire. We have other company rigs that run the Coops or Mastercrafts in the winter and they have done well.

I kept the 04 wheels and Coops to put on my 97 after the tires that came with the truck wear out. I already put them on earlier this fall, and then decided to save them.

I rotate my dually tires every 5K when I do the oil change.
