2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission dually tire sizes

Will 285/75/16 mud terrains fit on a dually with no wheel spacers? If not what is the biggest I can go. There is also a 2" leveling kit on the truck

The largest I would go without the use of a spacer is 235-85-16. Why not use a spacer? They don't bite.

255-85-16 might be able to clear each other OK on a '02. those rims have a dipper offset than the trucks that came with 215s, stock. Will depend on the manufacturer.



My truck came with 215s, and have 235s on there, without spacers. They are about 1" apart with 2500# on the bed of the truck. Aired up to 75-80#. No visible tire sidewall contact.

i have been told that a 255-80-16 will fit the 4x4 dually with no spacer and a small gap between the tires. .
