i'm about to start bombing Oo. (finally) :D in about a month or two. just want to know what are the benefits of a dual exhaust system,(eg. ) egt's,flow, noise, looks, etc. is it worth it (on a 2wd :( )?

Duals definitely look good, and it sounds good. That's about it though. You won't see any difference in EGT, and they don't flow any better than the same downpipe would with a single.

Exhaust will only flow as well as the smallest bend allows.

My vote..... STACKS!

-R. J,

Thats the only reason I want duals. that way there can be a viper on the left and a lambo on the right, and I can walk em' both cause they cant see a dawgon thang.

I would *like* to have 5" DP, 5" in/dual 5" out muff, with dual 5" exits with 6" tips. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Sounds like a plan to me. Might be a custom job though, I don't think anyone makes anything like that right now.

Get it done and get some pics... preferably from the back with some smoke.

My brother's 96 has duals. He bought the truck with them already on. 3" pipes with 4" chrome tips, and a flow through muffler. It had a fluttery turbo whine at idle that sounded really awesome! Now, with the muffler removed, it just sounds incredible. It does have an annoying drone at 2100 rpms, but its worth it. :) :D The truck is stock, so it only smokes with a heavy load or at start up. Its cool to see smoke puff out both sides in the morning. :) But... the smoke doesn't rise up evenly from the pipes, one gets more smoke, and comes out quicker. Oh well, looks and sounds cool.
